Behistun inscription is the most prominent monument among 28 historical monuments located in Behistun historic site. The largest inscription of the world, remained from Achaemenid era, is located 30 kms away from Kermanshah on top of a mountain with the same name, 70 meters above the ground. The inscription which is written in 3 languages (Old Persian, Elamite and Babylonian) explains the conquest of Darius I against the rebels.
