The vast land of "Persia" with 31 provinces and the area of 1650000 square kilometers stands in southwest of Asia (in Middle East) among: Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to the latest official census carried out in 2017 the calculated population of the country is about 80,000,000 people who are mostly (99% of all) Muslim. Following the overthrow of last Persian monarchy Pahlavi dynasty in 1979 revolution, Shia Islamic theocratic government named the "Islamic Republic" was founded in Iran. The official language of the country is Farsi.
