Falak-ol-Aflak Castle is the most well-known historical place in the city of Khorramabad. The Castle was established in Sasanid era (about 1600 years ago) and has been used as a governmental place during different dynasties. Falak-ol-Aflak is the icon of Khorramabad city.
Shekaste Bridge (Shapuri Bridge)
Locating at the south part of Falak-ol-Aflak, Shekasteh Bridge is one the architectural masterpieces of Sasanid era. The bridge was a link between "Lorestan" and "Ctesiphon", the capital of Sasanids.
Brick Minaret of Khorramabad
The 30-meter brick minaret of Khorramabad is a 900-year building. The tower was originally used in old times to help the caravans not to get lost and find the city of "Shapur" easily.
