Naghshe Jahan Square: constructed by Shah Abbas the great between 1598 and 1629, Naghshe Jahan Square connects 4 unparalleled monuments: Ali Qapu palace, Qeysarie bazaar, Imam mosque and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and attracts thousands of tourists from all around the world each year. The square was registered by UNESCO in 1979.
Jame Mosque: Registered by UNESCO in 2012, the 1000-year old mosque contains different Iranian architectural styles from different periods.
Chehel Sotoun (Forty columns): The garden which was established in Shah Abbas Safavid era is one the 9 Persian gardens registered by UNESCO (2011). The name of the garden (forty columns) is originated from 20 columns of the pavilion which are reflected in the pond in front of it and appear to be 40. The amazing paintings drawn on interior walls describe royal banquets and different wars.
Si-o-seh Pol: The bridge built by Shah Abbas the Great, was established to connect the north part on the city to the south part. With the length of 298 meters and height of 13 meter, Si-o-seh Pol is the hugest historical bridge in Iran which is still in use.
