In your Iran trip, you can visit the most important complex remained from Zand dynasty in Shiraz city. Shiraz was the capital of Iran at the time of Zand dynasty and reign of Karimkhan Zand (known as Vakil). As Shiraz was the foremost city of the country, Vakil ordered to build many constructions known as "Vakil". This complex comprises: mosque, bathhouse, bazaar, water reservoir etc. which we introduce briefly here:
Vakil Mosque:
One of the elegant and firm constructions belonging to Zand era is vakil mosque. In terms of architecture and art, the mosque is of an especial importance. Vakil Bazaar
Vakil is one of the well-known bazaars among traditional bazaars of Iran. Vakil bazaar, located at the heart of Shiraz, was the place to do all business-related functions such as selling and buying usual need of people, swapping, exchanging money etc and is still in operation nowadays.
