Arg-e Bam
Arg-e Bam (Bam citadel) is one of the most famous attractions of Kerman province which you can visit in your Iran trip. The citadel which is located on Silk Road has endured more than 2500 years. The largest abode construction of the world, remained from Parthian dynasty, was still in use 150 years ago. Arg-e Bam is consisted of two main parts where ordinary people and the governors' family lived separately. The astonishing Arg-e Bam, survived from 2003 earthquake of Bam city, includes different parts like: School, caravanserai, Tekyeh, mosque, fort, stable, barracks, bathhouse, mill and the residential part. The citadel was registered on UNESCO Heritage Sites list in 2004 and thousands of tourist visit Arg-e Bam in their Iran tour every year.
